Project Introduction:

Advantech in-vehicle computing for fleet management solutions translates real time data from vehicles, cargo, deliveries and workers into dynamic, understandable displays that help increase productivity and cut down operating costs.

Project Solutions:

In this application our TREK-550, suitable to operate in extreme environment as far as temperature and vibrations are concerned, provides diagnostic monitoring through CAN BUS, serial port, Ethernet, G sensor, video-in camera and vehicles positioning – paths by GPS communication. The Central Office can continuously communicate with the fleet by GPRS/UMTS allowing the driver to view and interact by TREK-303H.
Once arrived to destination the driver can proceed with the normal logistic operation guaranteed by WLAN connection on vehicle connected to the EKI-6311GN Access Point installed in the warehouse.
